Friday July 8, 2005

Okay, so I waited until my sexy new monitor arrived before I started this but boy was it worth waiting for!

So here it is, just what everyone wanted, another bloody meme. I am nothing if not original... anyway.

Black and white 'cos it looks tidier... a bit... okay, okay, I'll get the vacuum cleaner!

Essential Matrix style cable layout to impress the Missus (ahem!), plus sexy 19" Formac, shown on left.

Dining room developer section for those clients with £300 budgets.

The view is great!

Sweet setup, I wish I had more than one computer. And I really wish I had a Mac, but its too $$$ for a lowly high school student.

Bugger…well you’re going to have to be a bit patient with me as I’m not back in the office till next Wed and my home setup is beset with new-baby type stuff (babygro’s/bibs/assorted other shit).

    Nice monitor though ;o)

Oh boy. Not another meme. I wonder how many people will want to strangle you after this is all through… good luck with that.

Heh, from what I understand a lot of these people feign negativity, but deep down they’re just happy someone likes them.

OK you persuasive old sod ;o) I’ll take a piccie tomorrow. I can’t take one now as Tabby’s asleep behind me with the lights off!

Er, what I meant to say instead of “they’re just happy that someone like them” is that they couldn’t live without your site.

Phil: Great shed…and nice looking fan tower thingy! :)

Heh, just as I took a snap of my work space just for the heck of it, Oxton starts a meme. I’ll see if I can get it presentable and on Flickr. =]

Actually I’m Much-Less-Nice Relly, wife of aforementioned Nice Paul. I’m peeing my pants at the idea of Paul showing his workspace to anyone. I’ve just relegated him to a much smaller room and desk after watching his paperwork consume anything in its path in our ‘dining room’. Including the 6ft table, floor, 4ft glass desk, sideboard – frankly anywhere that he could still see to balance paper.

He has had his new desk less than 48 hours. Already I see one mug, 1 spoon, 1 network cable, 5 cds, glasses, 30+ pieces of paper, some photos, a tissue(ugh), a green folder and the diary and pen he can never find underneath it all.

I feel a song coming on. “Sometimes it’s hard to be a woman …”

Yea, $500 for a mini is a crushing blow to any student after paying a grand for PC.

Well, I’m rather ashamed of my old PC now. :( Anyway, here’s my office at the moment.

I dig your setup. Good resources I think. I run a similar setup for my windows machine. I dual boot with linux on occasion as well. I run 160gb, but that’s about the only difference.
